My God, My God, I Cry to thee
Cathedrals and Murals
Crosses and Columbariums
Priests and Pastors
Sanctuaries And Mausoleums
In a place of his presence
In union we sing praises to his glory
He is in the midst of our prayer
The Great I am, is here
Wine and Bread we dine in his name
To God be the glory and the all of the fame
All of our pain we lift to you
All of the struggles you carry us through
My God, My God, thou hast not forsaken me
Rain descends and contrary winds blow
The beast howls his might and his pride
My God, My God you are my stronghold
My rock and my shelter all of my days
Carry my soul to the ends of this earth
Embrace me through the suffering of this world
I’ll cry in your arms unto I fall into the promised land
I reach out to you, My God, My God, Please Take my hand
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
